The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services position created for intervention encounters a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to allow the servicing of all consumers and raise usage sassa status of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
